Bear Creek Capital will attend and/or participate in five major investor conferences in New York City and South Florida during September and October 2026. Our fall schedule includes events hosted by Moody Capital Solutions, H.C. Wainwright, the National Investment Banking Association (NIBA), Maxim Group, and ThinkEquity.
Why do we make it a point to attend events like these?
Markets today move incredibly fast. News is available around the clock, earnings reports can be downloaded instantly, and investors can spend hours every day following financial markets without ever leaving their desks.
We believe there is still real value in getting out from behind the computer screen.
Investor conferences give us an opportunity to meet company executives, investors, investment bankers, brokers, and other market professionals face-to-face. They also give us a chance to hear what companies are working on, ask questions, find out which industries are attracting attention, and listen to what other experienced people in the market are thinking.
| “We encourage our members to attend as many of these events as possible because they help keep your finger on the pulse of financial markets in a direct, active manner instead of passively just watching. You can actually participate, which will help inform your decision-making.” – Raymond Oliver, CEO – Bear Creek Capital |
That philosophy is an important part of what we do at Bear Creek Capital.

Conferences provide another perspective. You can hear a CEO explain a company’s strategy, listen to questions from investors, learn about technologies you may not have followed before, and have conversations with people who work in the capital markets every day.
Those interactions do not replace fundamental research or due diligence. They add another layer to it.
That is also the philosophy behind our own Bear Creek Capital Investor Events. Throughout Florida, we bring public company executives together with accredited investors and other financial-market professionals through private dinners, luncheons, and other events. Our goal is to create an environment where people can have meaningful conversations and engage directly rather than simply watching from the sidelines.
This fall, we will be taking that same philosophy on the road.
September 9-10, 2026 | New York City
Our fall conference schedule begins in New York with the Moody Capital Solutions 2026 Disruptive Growth & Life Sciences Conference at The Westin New York Grand Central.
The conference is focused on small and mid-cap companies, life sciences innovators, and emerging private companies, bringing together company founders, investors, and industry leaders.
That makes this an especially interesting event for us. Small and emerging public companies have long been an important part of the Bear Creek Capital world, and conferences like this provide an opportunity to hear directly from management teams and see what new businesses and technologies are beginning to attract capital-market attention.

Just a few days later, we plan to be at the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel.
This is a much larger event that combines company presentations, private investor meetings, and networking. H.C. Wainwright expects public companies, institutional investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and industry executives to participate.
One of the things we particularly like about the conference format is the opportunity for direct interaction. Presentations are useful, but conversations with management and other market participants can often provide additional context around what is happening within a company, an industry, or the broader market.

October 6-7, 2026 | Fort Lauderdale, Florida
In October, we come much closer to home for the National Investment Banking Association’s 153rd Investment Conference at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.
NIBA has been connecting emerging growth companies with the investment community since 1982, and its conferences have become familiar gathering places for companies, investment bankers, and investors.
The South Florida location makes this event particularly relevant to Bear Creek Capital.
Florida has become an increasingly important part of our investor network. Bear Creek regularly conducts its own investor events throughout markets including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Naples, and Tampa.
We believe there is tremendous value in continuing to build those relationships here in our own backyard.
October 13-14, 2026 | New York City
We then return to New York for the Maxim Growth Summit 2026, scheduled for October 13 and 14 at the Hard Rock Hotel New York.
Growth-company conferences are always useful opportunities to see what is happening across multiple sectors at the same time. We will be listening to company presentations, meeting people within the investment community, and looking for businesses and trends that deserve further attention.
As always, attending a presentation does not mean endorsing a company or its stock. It means learning, asking questions, and gathering information.
That distinction is important to us.
October 15, 2026 | New York City
The day after the Maxim Growth Summit comes the ThinkEquity Conference at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York.
The conference covers sectors including artificial intelligence and big data, biotechnology, technology, metals and mining, energy, and crypto. Its audience includes U.S. and international public and private companies, institutional investors, and accredited investors.
That broad mix should make ThinkEquity a fitting conclusion to what will be a very active several weeks for Bear Creek Capital.
There is a common thread running through all five conferences.
Participation matters.
Financial markets are ultimately made up of people, companies, ideas, and capital. Technology has made access to information easier than it has ever been, but relationships and direct communication remain important.
We want to know what executives are seeing. We want to hear what investors are talking about. We want to know which industries are generating excitement, where concerns are developing, and which new technologies may be moving from an interesting idea toward a real business.
That is what Ray means when he talks about keeping your “finger on the pulse.”
It is also what we try to create through our own Bear Creek Capital events. Our private investor dinners, luncheons, virtual presentations, and other gatherings are designed to bring members of our community closer to public companies and the people running them.
If you are a public company, accredited investor, broker, investment professional, or member of the Bear Creek Capital community and will be attending one of these conferences, we would like to hear from you.
